Zera (ゼ ラ Ze ra) is the first phase of the 4th boss battle of R-Type Leo. They resemble two immobile, stationary humanoid-like statues holding red gem-like cores at their "hands". They shoot lasers from these gems directly at the player's direction. After their defeat, the statues quickly reduce themselves to dust and disappear, thus starting the next phase.
