Superior Soldiers (パーフェクトソルジャーズ Pāfekutosorujāzu), known as Perfect Soldiers in Japan, is a fighting game developed and published by Irem in 1993 for Arcades, never receiving any console ports. It is loosely connected to the R-Type series.
Story[]
In August 1999 a mysterious radioactive energy known as "Force" rains down on Earth, causing the deaths of 90% of the planet's population. In order to survive, the remaining 10% of the population modify their bodies with cyborg implants and other augments, giving birth to a new humankind.
A few of these enhanced humans now gather in search of the source of the Force, as a mysterious spaceship orbits around the Moon as if to invite them.
Gameplay[]
Superior Soldiers plays like a typical fighting game of the time, with six buttons for punches and kicks of different strength, and special moves being done with quarter circle motion combinations. The player can choose between seven different characters, each with their own strengths and weaknesses.

- Starsaber/Star Savior: A Captain Commando lookalike and the game's supposedly main character.
