The Rodless Force is a Force introduced in R-Type Final.
Red Laser: Fractal Laser: Fires a single red laser.
Blue Laser: Thunder Laser: Fires a diagonally upward blue lightning bolt, then drops and splits into three bolts.
Yellow Laser: Tentacle Laser Prototype: A single tentacle is emitted from the Force, which follows the movement of the ship.
When detached, the Force folds into a compact form and "hunts" for enemies, moving to a new position every few seconds. It will attempt to deal contact damage regardless of what the pilot is doing, and fires in the direction it is facing if the ship's Vulcan gun is fired. The force's AI is rudimentary, but can be 'led' to targets; if the pilot fires on one and the force unit is nearby, it will make an attempt to focus its fire as well. However, the basic AI will sometimes need guidance, and pilots may need to recall and then detach the force again to make it focus on a particular target. If the pilot stops firing the Vulcan Cannon for a couple of seconds, then the force will switch to a passive mode and attempt to line up with the R-craft like a normal force. This detached pattern is shared by the Tentacle Force, the Flexible Force, and the Flower Force.

The Rodless Force is only found on the R-9F Andromalius.
Upgraded Fractal Lasers can be found on the Cube Force (Double Fractal Laser, Slant Fractal Laser, Vertical Fractal Laser).
Upgraded Tentacle Lasers can be found on the Tentacle Force (Snail RAY) and the Flexible Force (Double Snail RAY).
