Pillar is a very tall machine that is only found in Red Hot Desert. It attacks by popping out of the sandy grounds in small or large groups and shoot out blue ring-like projectiles that also changed to orange. They can be destroyed quickly using the Psy Bits. If not destroyed, they retreat back into the ground.

The ring-like projectiles shot by Pillar are similar to the Ion Ring shot by the Moai from the Gradius series.
