The Leo Force DX is an upgrade of the Leo Force, introduced in R-Type Final. This Force is used by the R-9Leo2 Leo II.
R-Type Final / R-Type Final 2[]
Description
Enhanced version of the Leo Force. It is awesome in battle and on every pilot's wish list. Very few have used it, since it is reserved for pilots with psychic abilities.
When detached, the bullets fire straight up and down, as well as at 45 degree angles.
Red Laser: Claw Laser DX - Standard forward firing laser, with 4 small energy bursts that bounce along laser beam.
Blue Laser: Mirror Laser DX - A large laser fires directly forward and two large, highly reflective lasers fire at 45 degree angles. The large laser will split into two at 45 degree angles on impact.
Yellow Laser: Search Laser LRG DX - Lasers fire forward and then turn at 90 degrees when above or below a target and create a small explosion on impact.
If a Psy Bit + is equipped along with a Leo Force DX, it will fire in the exact same way as the Force does.
Trivia[]
- In the original Japanese description, it says "it is reserved for ace pilots", not "pilots with psychic abilities".
- Like the Leo Force, the R-Type Leo sound effects of the Claw Laser DX and the Search Laser LRG DX are swapped in R-Type Final and R-Type Final 2 for some reason.
