Fine Motion is a large Bydo attack cruiser. A distinctive aspect of the Fine Motion is that it's actually a shell. Once engaged with a target, the outer hull peels away to reveal an inner core, resembling a blooming flower with four petals. Fine Motion has a great variety of beam attacks at its disposal. The power core is protected by an outer core, which functions as a shield against direct attacks. This craft is designed for quick and powerful strikes.
- Class: Huge Bydo
- Designation: Capsule
- HP Level: 5
- Location: Dimension 26
Unmanned defense for trans-dimensional warp routes. It constantly patrols, and will destroy any threat. A gravity field that warps space can negate its target acquisition ability, making it vulnerable to destruction.
Gameplay[]
Fine Motion, as well as being a boss, determines which of the three level 6 variants the player will get, and thus which ending they will get. If the game has not yet been completed, the boss is fought as normal and the player will proceed to Floating Graves (6.0) and then to Bydo Abyss (F-A). On a second playthrough after F-B has been completed, two blue prongs will appear on the boss: destroying either of these will result in the player instead proceeding to Beautiful Erasure (6.1) and then from there to Summer Night (F-B). Once F-B has been completed, four prongs will be deployed, two red and two blue. Destroying the blue prongs leads to Beautiful Erasure as before, but destroying the red prongs leads to Anti-Space (6.2) and then to Wherever (F-C).

Trivia[]
Several Fine Motions can be seen near the end of Wherever and they act as obstacles as they don't attack. The Fine Motions appear to be attached together, suggesting that the cruisers can link up together.
In keeping with the theme of the level, the speed of Fine Motion's attacks varies depending on the selected speed of the player's craft.
